Mr. Hug brings to Lakefield Partners in-depth knowledge of both private banking and institutional asset management. Based on a profound understanding of investors’ needs and preferences, he successfully managed global fixed income and equities portfolios of both private and institutional clients. As an educated engineer he focused over many years on two key topics of modern investment management: the construction of robust portfolios with positive performance in all market phases and actively managed index-based portfolios (‘active indexing’).
